World's Water Woes Dangerous and Deadly
After years of being treated as disposal dumps and water for crops, The Earth's natural freshwater hydrological systems are failing. Australia's Murray River system [search] has run virtually dry after years of water mismanagement compounded by climate change. As water discharges into surrounding wetlands [more] are discontinued in order to continue profiligate irrigation in deserts, the river's riparian zone is effectively dying making river recovery unlikely even if some rains should return. And as highlighted before, in a world of plenty with trillions to spend on military weaponry, some 5,000 children a day are dying from water carried preventable diseases. "Nearly two million children a year die for want of clean water and proper sanitation while the world's poor often pay more for their water than people in Britain or the US." Where is the outrage at this entirely preventable tragedy? NOTE: Following site redesign we have not had time to be water blogging, but expect to now. Thank you for your patience.

I share your outrage at the trillions for weapons while thousands of CHILDREN die every month from PREVENTABLE cause. Now in the middle of my 6th decade, I spent the majority of my life RESEARCHING how to prevent such crimes, and DISCOVERED solutions that are solid science, they work. BUT the so called V.I.P.s in the White House, in Congress, in the United Nations, with only four exceptions, then they too ran for the hills, REFUSE to even DIALOGUE. They REFUSE. They will not take calls, answer emails, return calls, answer letters, again, with the exception of a Recent President, a recent First Lady, and a now retired Assistant Secretary General, who all praised "my views as THE BEST" -- zilch. NOR is MEDIA interested. So those with solutions are bottled up, scolded, and the game goes on. THE WAR GAME is a form of ILLNESS, and this can be reasonably proved with Science. They do not wish to give up this bad boy approach to life. Too many perks, for their ego. Theh issue comes down to Education. I was hired as Professor four times in three countries, and a Dean, by the Jesuits, but frankly, the SYSTEM DOES NOT WORK. Period. And the people do not seem to want it to work, in spite of what they say. What they want to is to feel good, and seem to be like the others, and what the others do, they do. This denial of individual responsibility is the root, and it reflects the individual failure to know G*D, as a living part of themselves. Robots rule. That is our shame. G*D is shoved out the door, and given lip-service only, in his own world. A true, tragic situation.
Cheers!
